Within a deposition transcript, you can add tags and notes to clarify the content and later filter for quicker access.
Adding a note
- In the deposition viewer, use the cursor to select the text in the deposition transcript that you want to tag, and then click the Add note button.
- In the annotation popup box, enter the text of the note, and a title (optional). From here you can also add tags to the selected text.
Tagging a deposition
- In the deposition viewer, use the cursor to select the text in the deposition transcript that you want to tag, and then click the Add tag button.
- In the tagging box, select the tags to apply to the text, as well as whether the text is helpful or harmful to the case. Applied tags are displayed at the top of the box.
- All tags that have been applied to the document, as well as the number of times they are used and their helpful/harmful designations, are listed in the Tags section in the deposition viewer.
